Androphonissa is a hot-headed and hot-blooded young warrior from New Colchis. She represents the century of Infantry, the largest of the centuries into which New Colchian society is divided, and as such represents the typical attitude of ordinary Amazons. She belongs to Orion's Hammer.
Biography
Androphonissa volunteered to join the Amazon mission to New Colchis because "that's where the enemy is." She was somewhat surprised to learn on arrival that the enemy comprised fully half of the population. What's worse, there were some of them that she wasn't allowed to kill.
Still, she delivers pearls of New Colchian wisdom to those who will listen. She has observed that there's "nothing wrong with a Hewer Elite that can't be fixed with a small loop of piano wire", or that "the trick with a Galaxy Archon is knowing what to crush first."

Inspiration
Androphonissa is Greek for "Slayer of Men."
