Helena formed this group in 2007 after an accident at The Portal Corporation stranded her in this dimension (Freedom Server). Originally, Helena existed in a parallel dimension (Triumph Server) as Icicle and was a member of Stephanie Alston's (Plasmal) ''Entropy Group'' which, at the time, were commissioned to provide security for The Portal Corporation's main facility on Peregrine Island while they conducted a series of secret trans-dimensional experiments. Plasmal discovered one of her teammates was actually a Crey undercover agent. Once aware of his discovery, the traitorous Nova White escaped through one of the experimental portals followed closely by Icicle. The chase led through several dimensions when, finally, in an effort to elude Icicle, Nova White detonated a portal just before she entered, destroying the entire facility and effectively trapping her in the dimension she currently reside. Being a former employee with knowledge of portal technology, Icicle does all she can to help rebuild and possibly find her way back to home dimension.
