On tour with the US national team in Scandinavia when the Rikti attacked, a strange one eyed man fashioned for her a baseball bat to utilize 'for the betterment of all'. This mighty stick was hewn from Yggdrassil the world tree, it's maker the Norse chief god Odin. Tapping it three times on the ground turns Casey Rose into The MIGHTY CASEY!!!! There is a power in numbers, and 9 is a holy number to both the Nordic mythos and baseball. By itself, it is powerful, but in Casey Rose's hands, it is fueled by the people's passion for the National Past-time.

It turns out, her family legacy was that of the legendary ballplayer, who uses a bat hewn from Yggdrassil itself.  Her uncle was the fourth Mighty Casey, but alas, was laid low during the invasion. Picking up his bat, Cassandra became the next in the line of the Casey lineage!

Biography
