Background

Origin

Navy Spider was once a Crey Industries employee. He was bitten by a genetically altered spider during a staff meeting in a Crey research facility. This abnormal arachnid carried an electrical charge and infused the Navy Spider with tremendous power. From this, he gained a host of superhuman abilities and soon after followed a vocation to become a superhero. Battling evil in a dark blue suit, he was dubbed the “Navy Spider” by the people of Paragon City.

Powers

Navy Spider possesses superhuman strength, speed, agility, and leaping ability. Electrical power flows through his body and he can unleash it at will. With his energy, Navy Spider is able to bend light around himself and turn invisible. He can also become intangible for short periods of time. Occasionally, Navy Spider will use a web launching device to trap his enemies. After all, what’s a spider without a web?!

Trivia

Navy Spider once saved members of the British Royal Family from a terrorist attack and was subsequently knighted. His friends sometimes refer to him as the "knighted one".

Despite being "part spider", arachnids still give Navy Spider the willies.

Navy Spider's favorite McDonald's value meal is currently a #3.
