Overview
Irradio is a Science origin Defender on the Justice server. When not acting as a registered hero for Paragon City, she is simply Karla Berand, a woman with a mildly successful coffee shop, Slow Roast, in Atlas Park that practically runs itself, thanks to the help of a robotic assistant.
Karla Berand is not her birth name, nor is any of the information in Paragon City's records of Irradio's origins the truth. According to Paragon City's hero registration, Irradio came into her powers through personal experimentation. The truth is less pleasant.
