About Me

I actually started playing the game in April 05, with a bunch of friends from work. We powered through content under the supergroup alias 'Crimson Darkness' and completed the game satisfactorily. I moved on to create my own supergroup the 'Dark Covenant' and explored movie-making and comicbook art based around the super-group's dark theme. It was my first taste of roleplaying and I wanted more.

Roleplaying really began to grasp my attention after a confusing and accidental introduction, when I power-spammed an astonishingly large crowd of people at the Galaxy Girl statue with my hero Y-Freeza. Like Coile, I later grew into style by writing character stories. When Battleflag started and then left the Militia, I stepped up as Moderator and learnt to write plots and group story-arcs. During this time, the Militia and Silent Tempest initiated Pocket D roleplaying as a more suited, alternative, social gathering area to GG. I remember helping Suzi White re-launch the hugely controversial 'Heroes Among People' community-plot at this time. Later, Amber Banshee, Crimson Archer and then Britanic took up the Militia Plot Moderator position. Consequently, I turned my focus on the Gang, the over-powered thugs superteam with whom I moderated three successful communitywide invasion plots based on RP PvP, guest starring the Immorality.

Then I launched Paragon City Parkour with the New Heroes Union, a small game of skillfully running through Independence Port without stopping or falling to the ground; it was only a one-off success. Then I launched the Friday Night Talkshow project, successful, plenty of veteran and common roleplayers had a lot of fun, basically video-taping their roleplaying onto YouTube. Prior to the Second Rikti War, while I was stateside with Tyger, I discovered the Handbook of the Virtue Universe and went on to make one for Union. With instruction from Kadikawa, I co-design the now massive website and Zortel helped moderate it, even Coile pitched in for a while. This was the time that my character Pious Hunter aka the Priest, settled down in Moth Cathedral and attracted widespread forum RP including Doctor Mechano's well-known redemption and Britanic's wedding. During this time, I had invented Acting Avatars and suddenly the forums were ablaze with Hollywood actors with game icons plastered on their faces, 90% of which I drew for people on Photoshop, even Catz helped out a bit.

After a while I spoke with Hatesman about the League of Righteous Destroyers. As world villains, the Lords promised to be an exciting community-wide adversary for the countless in-character hero groups in Paragon City. Simultaneously, I re-visited my YouTube exploits and announced the Gladiators project (the Cage), RP PvP for fun and entertainment purposes or more, it was great fun for everyone. It was at this time that Crazy Dragon proposed an idea for military sponsored combatants and Merrow invented the name R.A.P.I.E.R. I jumped on-board and helped out a lot. In the middle of running these three projects, it all fell apart and circumstances meant I could no longer play. Later I became a husband and a father. The Priest went MIA. Pistol died. Pious clones died. I bid farewell and left.

Four or Five months later, I return with the Priest and my undying interest in entertaining the community. Its fair to say my personal life can be a little hectic, so this story-writing game-playing hobby keeps me calm and entertained (theater work, parkour, dance and other favourable hobbies aside). I try my best to look after the many projects I run here and what keeps me going at it is all of you wonderful people. Look out for the PRIEST Comics and the return of many other projects. Long live City of Heroes and long live Union!
