Biography
A bio-organic and symbiotic lifeform created for Project Vitalis, Metadelicon was a mindless creature that gained human-like sentience by absorbing the thoughts and memories of the workers it defeated. It was gonsidered a dismal failure as it proceeded to rage out of control and destroy most of the facilities in which it was housed. It was eventually caught and incarcerated until rescued by agents of Arachnos (as per game storyline). Upon arriving in Fort Darwin, The Masked-Mastermind immediately inducted it into the Cole's Industries.
While it is by all accounts a villian, it is a relatively peaceful creature that only directs its rage against those who would force their unwanted command on it, as well as those who would pervert or desecrate natural life in its various forms. It has decided it is in his best interest to ally itself with Arachnos and the Industries, but only in the search for more knowledge... and, in consequence, power.
Metadelicon's leafy form has the ability to absorb the energy and nutrients from sun, ground, and water much like a real plant. The roots is creates with plant control abilities have a secondary psychic effect to copy and record the thought waves of its targets (this is not an actual in-game property). It is widely believed that the sheer amount of thoughts it has absorbed in this way has altered its psyche: most commonly documented as a tendency to refer to itself in plural.
