Rumpelteazer is the result of an experiment conducted by Doctor Alison Lynn Gothson. Gothson had been working on genetic splicing procedures with cats for the Council. The intent was to replicate the Warwolf effect, but with the end result having better intellect and more fines.
The batch containing Rumpelteazer was the first, and last, incorporating a near human appearance. And of the 12 subjects, she was the only on to survive the birthing process. The program was to have the subject go through 6 months of training ending with a field test. Part of this went right...
The training went well for 3 months. At that point Rumpelteazer turned on her trainer, and creator. The Council was impressed as well as irked. She was an efficient killer but only her creator had understood the process that created her. And then the field test went horribly wrong leaving the Council no choice but to abandon Rumpelteazer to the mercy of the city's heroes and the Ziggurat.
