Overview
The Cyclofusitron is a portable perpetual-energy device created and patented by Paragon City engineer Dr. Darrell Jones, Sr.
The Cyclofusitron captures the kinetic energy created by the user's own bodily functions (circulation, breathing, etc.), amplifies it with solar or electrical power, and converts it to other energy forms. This can power personal electronic devices for an indefinite amount of time, assuming normal biological functions and occassional recharges, which can be accomplished just by exposing the Cyclofusitron to direct sunlight.
Cyclopatra and December Man
While Dr. Jones intended the Cyclofusitron to be used for peaceful purposes, it was quickly adapted by his daughter Cyndi Jones, better known as the superhero Cyclopatra, for use in her super-powered armor. Further experiments in this application by Dr. Jones lead to the development of a cold-weapons battlesuit that was stolen by Dr. Jones's son, Darrell Jones, Jr. The younger Jones used the suit to become the supervillain December Man.
Other Uses
The Cyclofusitron has since been reverse-engineered by supervillain Raptus Regaliter and has been used extensively in his own armor designs and other cybernetic projects.
