Biography
Blazurithanos Barricand is a high elemental of divine Fire who hails from an infernal dimension where chaos reigns, called the Distray Zone. He is on an envoy mission to our own dimension, where he was tasked with intelligence gathering for a possible invasion. His entrance into our own realm was violent, causing the destruction of several buildings in the Kings Row district. It was in this ordeal that several innocent civilians died, including a young child who just had his 7th birthday. At the risk of being reprimanded for not following his main orders, Blazurithanos infused the deceased boy with some of his divine energies and returned the child to life at the cost of binding himself to this dimension.
Indeed, the ruler of the Distray Zone was not pleased with this course of action and used his own powers to forcefully meld Blazurithanos and the child into one being as "punishment": the child's mind was lost in the process, giving the elemental complete control over his now humanoid body. Now, expelled from the Distray Zone for percieved crimes against his own dimension, Blazurithanos has taken up the name of his former home as his mantle, and he intends to defend Paragon City and the world from fiery invasion if he must do so.
Distray Zone's newly-realized affinity to this world's superhuman culture has made it easy for him to adapt to the structure of the Paragonian Knights, into which he was inducted by Pulpit. Exactly what role he would play within the group is unknown as of yet, but the fact that he feels comfortable around its members is a good sign.
