Overview
A small-town girl from rural Michigan, Anna Sonnenfeld often went on long walks, wandering through her family's fields and daydreaming about how she might escape her dull and uneventful rural life. On one of those walks during the summer before her senior year of high school, Anna encountered a man lying in the middle a field, wounded and barely conscious. He was a total stranger, but there was something very calming in his demeanor. Before passing, he remained lucid just long enough to tell a fantastic story about an alien race threatening the world and his part in stopping them. He knew he was dying, but claimed there was a part of him that could live on if Annah was willing to assume his role in the conflict. She didn't believe a word of it, but agreed, hoping to comfort the man in what were obviously his last dying moments. As the man took his last breath, Anna felt something like a surge of energy entering her body. Since that day, she's felt drawn to Paragon City; she just isn't sure why...
