I'm a field medic for Vanguard, making life and death decisions on the battlefield.  It was night when we got hit by a new bio-weapon.  No one even got a chance to scream.  But me, I was in the field hospital, which was sealed from the outside.  Once rescued, they wanted to try a new medical precedure, an immune system made from nanos.  I voluntered.  I burned from the inside out for weeks.  It failed, I was in pain, this was it.  Then one day all the pain was gone, the doctors said I could walk around.  I saw a man die in the Trauma Room, they left him there to rest as they worked on others.  I went over to look at him, wondering his story, touched his arm, and he awakened.  A few tests confirmed it.  The healing nanos worked, and I could transfer them to others.  So now I'm helping heroes save the world, one battle at a time.
