Contact

Azure Huntress
Hero

This mage supposedly did much good in the 90s, having led a small but respected supergroup and eventually sacrificed her life in order to kill her archenemy as well. After her mysterious revival she is nowhere as powerful as she was in the past, now spending most of her time in the background.

Azure Huntress
Hello $name! Did you know that Ms. Ge is going to marry today? There is a problem, however: Her relatives haven't seen her since yesterday. Neither did we here at MAGI, but we checked and found that she embarked on a personal mission. Minutes ago we received word that Ge has been spotted in Skyway City, but she acted rather rude, supposedly. As you happen to be in the area, could you go and check on her?

Mission 1: Medium size map, level range 5-20. Contains Ambush, Boss, Collection, Ally, Battle.

Mission 2: Medium size map, level range 1-20. Contains Boss, Collection.

Mission 3: Unique map, level range 1-20. Contains Boss, Release Captive, Ally.

Souvenir

Neural Amplifier

A device to increase a psychic's power. It reminds you of a tragic incident known as:

The Wedding Dominator

On Valentine's Day 2008, your fellow heroine Ms. Ge was going to marry her love, a young man named Benton Whitley. However, she had disappeared the day before. When she was finally spotted close to your own location, Azure Huntress of MAGI called you to ask for your help. You found her in a building occupied by Arachnos, which was also under attack from the Lost. Ms. Ge told you the villains had discovered a Neural Amplifier. You helped her secure it, whereupon she left to take care of it herself.

As Ms. Ge had acted rather strange, Azure Huntress asked you to continue investigating even after she had returned to her family. You learned that she had been to a suspected base of Mental Strike, a villain thought to be in love with her. Eventually, a copy of his diary revealed that he had obtained another Amplifier earlier, and could now apparently easily take over other people's mind!

Your fears were soon confirmed. A Clockwork army apparently hijacked by the villain attacked Ms. Ge's bridegroom and the guests. When you and other heroes came to the rescue, you discovered that a mind-controlled Ge was on the rampage herself! You seemingly incapacitated her and eventually managed to beat Mental Strike despite his two Amplifiers, but once the villain realized his defeat, he gave his forced love a final order: To your horror, the two killed themselves.

Freedom Corps had lost an experienced fighter, but her memory lived on, as a Mr. Ge would soon appear on the scene, using the equipment of hers to continue the fight for good.

Notes

  • The Neural Amplifier was named after a Secret Project in Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri (which was unique, so I added Azure Huntress's line as an in-joke).
