About

Born in a distant future, when mankind thought that it held the power of the universe, they became arrogant. Humanity destroyed countless species and homeworlds at their whimsy. They laughed at such destruction.

However, one dark day, an empire grew out of the humans ancient homeworld, Earth. This empire sought to destroy man and alien alike who could threaten its power.

Ashleyanne narrowly escaped the destruction by hiding in the timestreams with her partners. They go through time and space fixing holes in the timestreams. Now, they have stopped at ancient Earth to save humanity from destroying its own future.

Eric and Ashleyanne were time-travelling humans (members of the most powerful race in all the universe) but in their own time, they were not more than peasants. In the future of the human-dominated star empire, nearly all humans learned the craft of time-shaping, thus, Eric and Ashleyanne were nothing special. They wore servants’ clothes that were nothing more than leather and cloth, the most primitive of outfits which were reserved only for servants and lower beings. These garments were the most demeaning of outfits, wearing the skin of an animal, and being treated like one. The only way in which Eric and Ashleyanne stood out is that they refused to bow to the power of the empire and all of its cruelty. Thus they joined a rebel group called the Warriors of Light. These rebels followed a great master of time-shaping, a man who was simply referred to as “Warp”. Warp was rumored to have been one of the first humans with the ability to shape time, and had developed a system of time-shaping that was much faster and more efficient than those methods used by the empire. Warp’s method left a faint bluish glow, and it was taught to all of the Warriors of Light. Using the Warp method of time-shaping, the Warriors of Light brought the war to the empire. There was only one problem; the Warp method was too complicated for most of the Warriors of Light to master. Although they were much faster than the empire, the Warriors of Light could not control exactly how far they were to travel, and thus were very disorganized. The Empire tracked down and captured nearly all of the Warriors of Light, but rather than killing them, the empire tortured them with the hopes of uncovering the secret to the Warp method. Warp disappeared, and not even his remaining followers knew where he went or even if he was still alive. Eric and Ashleyanne retreated into the time stream to escape, but rather than merely going to a different time, they used the Warp method to hide within the time stream itself. When the heat eventually died down, and they were confident that the empire had lost their trail, Eric and Ashleyanne found themselves searching for a time in human history in which they could blend in. They travelled for years or eons (depending on which version of time you wish to observe) and eventually found themselves in Medieval Europe. In this time, cloth and leather were not only worn, but were worn by those considered great adventurers. This was the perfect cover, they could come to any new land they chose, and claim to be adventurers from a far off land. This would explain why they showed up suddenly, and why they are unfamiliar with local customs and culture. Best of all, it was far enough back through the time stream that the empire would not catch up to them for a long, long time using traditional methods of time-bending.
