History

The Legacy Chain Taught Vadim one thing – no mercy for the wicked. When your father is a high ranking Member within the Brotherhood it gets drilled into your head relentlessly. From childhood he was taught the mystic arts and the sanctity of magic.

As a student of archeology at Croatoa University, he often spent many hours studying ancient artifacts trying to learn all he could about the use of magic in the past. While studying a copy of a book of hieroglyphs recently recovered from the Circle of thorns; (Hopefully MAGI won’t lose the original) Vadim learned how to unlock the powers of mind control and how to weakening the body. When his father learned of this, he made it his life’s goal to teach his son how to control his abilities responsibly. Since this ability can very easily corrupt even those pure at heart. So easily corrupted is this magic that only handful of our mystic soldiers are allowed to use it.

When his father was badly injured during a large scale battle with the Bat’Zuler after the Circle of Thorns had released him, Vadim had to find a way to provide for his family. He became a stage magician entertaining everyone from dignitaries to people on the streets with the light side of “magic”. During this time he never stopped learning to harness and strengthen his abilities guided by his father and The Legacy Chain Elders. After several years Vadim announced his retirement from the stage; even though his cover helped him find and eliminate many mystic of the dark arts all over the world.

The Legacy Chain needed his assistance for there is a greater threat to magic in Paragon City that he needs to be dealt with.

Now back in Paragon City; Vadim can help his Father and the rest of the brotherhood in thwarting the plans of Lord Recluse and his mystics since they have started to target members of the inner circle.
