Biography
Karl Danfreys was a former mainstay in the army who everyone looked up to and admired, a whiz with mechanical devices of every size. During a mission in the Middle East, his team was routed and he was left to die in the desert wasteland. The Arachnos organization siezed the opportunity and recovered him. They exploited his weakness to authority and his thoughts of being betrayed by his country, placing him in their service. Know working under the monicker Assaulon 9, Karl firmly believes that his life on the Rogue Isles is thanks to the organization, but he does have his doubts about whether or not his talents would be better used in his former employment.
His son, who is known in Paragon City as Mindsarge, believes him to still be missing in action.
