Background

Lucas Silos never knew his parents, as a child he was abandoned and spent his early youth in an orphanage located in Lubeck Germany. Possessing a keen mind and almost preternatural physical abilities, the young Silos was often ostracized by his fellow orphans due to jealousy. The experience, while creating a very private and introverted individual, also taught Lucas to be highly self-sufficient. Ultimately Lucas Silos would run away from the only home he had known. Lucas's natural abilities allowed the young Silos to excel at first as a gang tough then an accomplished solo thief. His success would fatefully put him in confrontation with one of the largest criminal organizations in Europe and the devastating experience which ended on the death of his first love also served as part of the catalyst that would change the current course of his life.

While fleeing for his life, Lucas came into possession of a mysterious package that contained his gear and a note directing Lucas to travel to America and seek his birthright in Paragon City. Seeing no reason to stay in Europe, Lucas stowed away on a ship and eventually arrived in Paragon City. Determined to not make the same mistakes as he had in his former home, Lucas decided to adopt the identity of Ghoshawk and take to the streets of the city as a vigilante. As Ghoshawk, Lucas Silos has come into confrontation with many of the city's villains and Department 7. Viewing himself as a sort of Robin Hood, Ghoshawk often steals from the criminal elements in the city and gives the ill-gotten gains mostly to orphanages in the city, taking what he needs to survive in the way of money and items needed to maintain and improve his equipment from those same criminal elements. Lucas Silos maintains a residence in the poorer section of King's Row where he pretends to be another one of the local down and out inhabitants.

Abilties

Ghoshawk nearly achieves peak human physical capability with the exception of dexterity; Ghoshawk's hand-eye coordination, agility, reflexes, fine motor skills, and balance are firmly beyond even an Olympic level athlete. He also possesses a keen analytical mind and uncanny skill as a swordsman.

There is some speculation on Ghoshawk's part that as an infant or perhaps from the very begining he had been genetically modified.

Equipment

Ghoshawk's standard equipment includes his reinforced composite battle suit, Impervium daggers, and his mask. The last item has seen constant improvement. The original item was little more than a brass mask with colored lenses. the current item is a composite device featuring electro-optically enhanced night vision, a self contained breathing apparatus, and integrated tactical computer/communications device with Wi-Fi capability allowing Ghoshawk to hack into various networks. The mask was further modified by ACADI with a cybernetic interface allowing almost entirely hands free operation.
