Biography
Early Life, 1983-2002
Yohanes was born on Apr 12, 1983 in Semarang, Indonesia. His father, Yonas Wijaya, was well acquinted with a local military figure. This particular man, Liutenant Tukul, would heavily influence Yohanes' life and personality. Under his influence, Yohanes grew into a brave and resolute young man.
Yohanes was devoted to his sister, but they were separated when she manifested symptoms of gene mutation disease. In order to surpress her power, she was put to coma. She remained infirm until her death.
The First Rikti War, 2002
He joined the army right after he had graduated from high school. In 2002, he was deployed against alien forces near his hometown when they invaded his country. Although his division survived the initial onslaught, most of Indonesian Armed Forces had been wiped out. The government surrendered the next day and the war was over.
Yohanes and his surviving division joined a militia group after their government was subjugated by Rikti invading force. They successfully held back Rikti attacks for several weeks. Unfortunately Yohanes and a few soldiers contracted rikti disease. When a massive Rikti group, which was retreating from failed U.S. invasion campaign, finally overran their fortified city, they didn't meet much resistance. When the smoke cleared, Yonas Wijaya and his daughter were dead. All surviving defender, including Yohanes, was captured. He, along with all of his comrades, succumbed to the infection in the following months of captivity.
