Overview

Riley Overbeck has come a long way since leaving the Hellions. A dangerous thug turned wayward superhero, "Wildfire" now protects the gritty streets of Kings Row, her home in Paragon City. Though sometimes at odds with the rigid stalwart, Blue Steel, Wildfire's dedication to righting wrongs and defending the peace has earned her his respect, as well as the respect of the community.

Demonic Origin

Riley's past life as a demonic entity has played a large role in her current life, granting her supernatural control over fire. Morganthe, daughter of Astaroth, was banished from the kingdom of hell for challenging Lucifer's power. As punishment for her insubordination, Morganthe was stripped of her immortality and sentenced to life among humans. Although Riley remembers little of her time as the defiant devil, more than once has she had to deal with the ramifications of her origins. What remains of Morganthe's will threatens to influence Riley's actions if she ever loses control. The sleeping danger within has attracted the attention of many individuals and organizations looking to harness the power of hell for their own agendas. As well, the minions of Lucifer and Astaroth himself continue to see Morganthe as a threat to their power, and look to snuff out her flames once and for all.
