Cult of Voidbane (Virtue Supergroup)

Overview

The Cult of Voidbane was initially a Kheldian-themed supergroup, but has opened itself to non-Kheldians (though membership is limited.) It is RP-light, the only consistent RP request being for members to eliminate Void mercenaries, Cysts and Nictus when they're run across regardless of archetype.

Backstory

When Voidbane, a young, effective but hotheaded and independent Peacebringer, tried to bring the rumors of a new Nictus experiment, 'some other sort of merging with these Humans' to light - the Void Hunters - she found herself rebuffed. Her superiors would "consider" until the sun exploded. She stormed out of the room, deciding she'd get her hands dirty and bring back proof they couldn't ignore (and thin out the Void mercenaries numbers while she was at it.)

A few other Kheldians - both Peacebringer and the newly-allied Warshades - followed her out. She tried to get them to leave her be, not wanting their blood on her hands as she led her own personal crusade, but they persisted. The local Kheldian leadership scoffed at these upstarts and shook their heads at Voidbane's newly acquired "cult of personality." These others took the name as a badge of pride, calling themselves the Cult of Voidbane.

Voidbane herself met with them, trying to dissuade them from the reckless actions they'd taken. They didn't know the danger, she stated. When they pointed out that she didn't either, that she was being as stubborn as those she left and that getting herself killed because she didn't have backup wouldn't provide the proof she wanted, she found herself giving in.

Showing herself willing to accept as allies anyone loyal to her cause, she appointed Gregor Malkov, a former Eastern European dissident sold to the Nictus as a host, as her second in command. Later, she accepted others, Earth-native and otherwise - such as vonDrakkar, the leader of a group of Dragonkin, Linnurata, a human saved by her once who had somehow developed Peacebringer-like powers and others, seeing their fight against menaces like the Rikti, Council and Circle of Thorns as akin to her own.

The group now dedicates itself to continuing the fight to protect their home, designated by some as Primal Earth, against any threat that comes to it, accepting any who will fight alongside them.

Leadership

The group is headed by Voidbane and Gregor Malkov, alternate characters of the same player.

Membership

Membership is generally closed, though membership can be requested from one of the leaders. Membership is invite-only.

Uniform

There is no set uniform. Kheldian based members are encouraged to try to replicate the "classic Kheldian" uniform, with the unavailable sash replaced by the cloth belt, but this is not required or enforced, and variations are not discouraged.

Goals

The supergroup is RP-light. It has no set goal such as PVP or raiding, though members are not discouraged from it as long as they behave in a responsible manner (don't give the supergroup a bad name by your actions, in other words.)
