Biography
Melaena represents some of the newer breed of the citizens of New Colchis. She was actually born in Gothenburg, in Sweden; she was taken in by the New Colchians, who recruit young women deemed suitable for Amazon training.
In New Colchis, she came to work as a blacksmith and weaponsmith, forging weapons of war and other implements of steel. Spending time in the foundries and smithy caused her to become endued with smoke, slag, and tar, which she combines with her Amazon training and strength developed as a blacksmith to defeat her foes.
Since moving to Paragon City, she has become a serious fan of the band Firemullet. This fandom has influenced her style of dress and carriage.
