Overview
In 2006, OSI R&D retrieved a body found frozen in Storglacären Glacier. OSI R&D scientists were later amazed to find that the body's heart was beating. After thawing out and regaining consciousness, the researchers learned from the subject that his name was Randulfr Asbjornson, born AD 808. He claimed to be sent back to Midgaard by Odin himself. He had boasted while drunk that modern warriors were too weak and foolish to match his skill in battle. Not lacking humor, Odin froze Randulfr in ice and told him he would be given a chance to prove his words. Once proven against the strongest warriors of the modern age, Randulfr will be allowed to return to Valhalla. Until then, OSI R&D is studying Randulfr to research cryogenics and resuscitation techniques in exchange for providing him a warm home and a full belly. Randulfr still believes these modern warriors to be inferior, but has gained a newfound respect for many of them, and calls all those who take delight in hunting trolls his brothers in arms.
