Mutation
Bodily stagnation of internal fluids creating large amounts of bacterial emissions. The ability to turn bacterial fluids into bacteria infested jets of water and poison others through skin contact. Being close to water or high humidity levels amplify her powers and causing her hair to discolor into a mossy like appearance. Conversely going to low humidity and dry places allows her to live as if she has no mutation.

Character History
Early Life
The first years of her life were easy street. Upper middle class family living in Honolulu, Hawai'i. She was happy, a caring brother, and two loving parents. She enjoyed playing on the beach building sand castles and burying her family in sand. The paradise ended when her brother's mutant abilities surfaced. Jonathan, her brother, had been sleeping that night and his body could create lava rock and magma, catching his room on fire due to its intense heat. By the time he had awoken their house had been engulfed in flames. He learned quickly he was resistant to the flames attempting to save their parents, they were already gone. He was able to save Ran before the last of the house collapsed. She knew that he blamed himself for the death of their parents, which made him extremely protective of her.
Long Journey
They were in and out of Child Services for a few years. Jonathan really never like anyone not allowing themselves to ever be in a stable living situation for long periods of time. They officially put themselves off the map once she to found out she was a mutant. The first warning signs had been the odd shade of green her hair would turn to. She accidentally poisoned Jonathan, but he was able to stave off the bacteria by rising his body temperature to levels above their living capacity. Ran eventually learned that her mutation was dependent on how close she was to a body of water. She was very self-conscious when her hair would turn green, always having it tucked under a baseball cap. Her brother vowed to find a way out of Hawai'i and move her to a place where she could live as normal as possible.
Ran did what she could as they squatted from place to place surviving day to day. They had each other and it seemed to be enough for both of them. Jonathan had done a few odd jobs to make some money and plotted out how much it would take to fly them out of Hawai'i. It took a couple of months but Jonathan was able to scrape up enough money to fly them to Los Angeles, California. They slowly moves their way east through California and reaching Arizona eventually stopping and taking residence in Phoenix, Arizona.
New Beginning
It had been a hard seven years up to this point, but things were starting to look up. On her thirteenth birthday Jonathan had gotten her a skateboard. She was glowing with joy when he gave it to her, however she never knew how he was able to obtain it. He had been doing small time criminal jobs for the Family, when they needed a little extra muscle. He figured she'd it like since she always said she had wanted to surf, but due to her aliment this was the next best thing. Slowly but surely the life became as normal as it could despite the lack of having parents. Ran had become a whiz at skateboarding. It was only a matter of time before people would start to take notice.
