Biography
Early Life, 1985-2000
Denise Timmers was born seemingly a normal girl. But around the age of 4 her parents noticed that she had unusual strength for a kid her age. After consulting some doctors her parents were nowhere near an explanation. Most of her powers lay dormant during her teenage life. Occasionally she had to hide the fact that she was stronger than most girls. Until the incident at the school prom right after her 16th birthday.
Teenage Years, 2001-2005
Watching her date getting bullied at the dance was reason enough for Denise to expose her powers. Trying to be protective she told the bully to leave them alone, but instead of doing so he pushed Denise and she hit a wall and fell to the ground. In a rush of temper she pushed back, but instead of pushing she shot an energy ball from her hands knocking the bully back nearly 20 feet and unconscious. This caused others at the dance, including her date, to look at her with fear in their eyes. She ran out the back of the hall and back home.
A few days after the incident two representatives from the Freedom Corps arrived at her house to talk about what had happened. Knowing that her parents could not provide proper care for her she agreed to move to Paragon City, leaving her parents and sister behind.
