User talk:Treehugginwolf
Welcome!
Hello, Treehugginwolf, and welcome to the Ouroboros Portal! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Feel free to fill out your personal user page so we can get to know you. There is a collection of Userboxes you can easily add there. Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date.
Don't forget to drop by and introduce yourself in the forum. If you need help, ask me on my talk page or ask on the forums and someone will try to to answer your questions shortly.
Also, make sure you take a look at the Help page. There are a lot of preloaded images, missions, and contact info templates, and what you want to add might already be there.
Again, welcome! —Thirty7 16:56, 22 March 2012 (UTC)
Category Help
It looks like you found the right category, for one of your characters... but weren't quite sure how to include it on your page, right? All you have to do is put [[Category:Infinity Villains]] on your character's page when you create it and POW! they will then appear on the category page you were looking at! Feel free to leave any questions about the Wiki on my talk page or any of the other Admins. Another great way to learn about Wiki-usage is to be not logged in and browse the Wiki/Ouro and when you see a page that does something cool, click on [View Source] to look at the code they used to do it! Also remember it is okay to copy Wiki-code to your own page (as long as you change the content). Good luck, and again, welcome! —Thirty7 17:00, 22 March 2012 (UTC)
Creating a Page
The easiest way to create a Character page, is to type the name of the character into the Search box followed by the server name in parentheses. Then just hit search, it will tell you there isn't such a page and prompt you to create one. Once the edit window opens up... WOOSH! away you go. It is a little obtuse if you aren't familiar with Wiki formatting and things. I suggest you take a gander at the Article Guidelines also. As I said early, browse around a bit too, and see if you can find elements you like, and then look at the code to see how they are created. Like I said, it can certainly be a bit obtuse to start getting into. (There are also a few links above for help with various things.) I hope that answered your question. —Thirty7 01:52, 24 March 2012 (UTC)
