Background

Zaporizhia was once Sister Zaporizhia of the Knives of Artemis. Two years ago, Zaporizhia and her squad were sent on an assassination mission in Cap Au Diable. Their target was the Chinese ambassador to the Rogue Islands, who was personally negotiating a trade agreement with Dr. Aeon.

The Malta Group had gotten wind of the negotiation and determined that the trade agreement could potentially proliferate high-tech AeonTech devices and create a new class of Chinese super-soldier.

While the assassination attempt was successful, Sister Zaphoriza was injuried and left behind. She was rescued by members of the The ZEBRA Death Squad named Widow Catelyn and Misunderestimated, who turned her over to ZEBRA doctors.

As per usual with patients under the care of ZEBRA doctors, Zaporizhia was experimented on without her consent. Her memories of her past, including her alligance to the Knives of Artemis were erased, and heavy doses of radiation unlocked a latent psionic mutation.

By the time she returned to physical health, Zaporizhia was given a completely new set of memories, although she still retained all of her useful covert ops skills.

Current Status

Zaporizhia is often teamed up with fellow ZEBRA member Jainen, and the two have been reportedly seen on missions on Sharkhead Island.
