Background
Cyndi Jones grew up the daughter of a renowned engineer. After she earned her Masters in Operational Engineering from Paragon Technical College, her family and friends assumed that she would follow in her father's shoes, but suprised everyone by going into the Paragon Police Department. Years earlier, she watched a good friend get pulled into one of the many gangs in the city and get injured while committing a crime. Determined to help stop the cycle of poverty and crime, she turned her sharp analytical mind to the problem of gangs.
She became well known in the Kings Row district, working in the homes, schools, and playgrounds of the area, keeping the children engaged in the positive aspects of Paragon City while helping curb gang violance. Unfortunately, her efforts were notices by the Skull leader Toothbreaker, who arranged to have her pushed in front of a train at Kings Row station. Barely alive, with all four limbs severed, her father used his engineering skills and fashioned for her robotic limbs and other devices to allow her to live a normal life again.
But again, she surprised her father; she wasn't interested in a "normal life", and quickly discovered that by modifying her robotic limbs and adding a Cyclofusitron to her armored breastplate, she should fire rays of energy from her hands and emit anti-gravity fields from her legs. Her doctor, Doctor Fa, was so impressed that he invited her to join The Battling Monkeys supergroup, where she continues her battle to defend the youth of Paragon City.
