Mental Strike is a NPC resembling a Villainous Dominator. His power sets are Mind Control and Psionic Assault.
Born Bruno Richelieu, his early life was far from happy. He was the victim of school bullies, the scapegoat of a gang he intended to join, briefly a prisoner and then the guinea pig of a psychiatrist who brainwashed him to become completely obedient. Following an arranged marriage, his wife took advantage of him for a few years, but by the time of the Rikti War, wanted to get rid of him and ordered him to become a soldier.
He then became the illegal guinea pig of a scientist who intended to give the troops psychic abilities. Realizing he was now powerful enough to no longer have to obey anyone, "Mental Strike" became a rather carefree villain in Paragon City and eventually the Rogue Isles.
He is in love with his heroic adversary Ms. Ge, and has been unsuccessfully trying to get her to return his affection. Even so, he refuses to better himself, his attempts usually involving doing more evil instead.
In fall 2007, Mental Strike was briefly the boss of Fiend Girl, who had been mentored by Ms. Ge but become fascinated with the Villain's way of life and developed a crush on him. However, it soon became clear that Mental Strike was still only interested in having Ms. Ge at his side and Fiend Girl could not help him with this, so they went separate ways.
