Bad news … except that it's another job for you, so probably good news from your point of view.
Gloomy Crush has been captured by the Legacy Chain. I'm a bit disappointed, he's come quite far in his training. I've been informed that they expect me to try to free him. I have abandoned disappointing lackeys before, but … Gloomy's not somebody I consider expendable. However, I'm going to have you free him. They're expecting me. As with the Hellions, somebody else showing up will irritate them. And in the meantime, I'm free to complete our original scheme. |
Retrieve Gloomy Crush
Evil Huntress |
You're indeed walking into a trap this time, but it's still a trap for me, not for you. The Legacy Chain may play in a higher league than the Hellions, but they're still no bigtime champions.
I'm willing to pay you a lot for this. Crush is more than just another lackey, they might be able to force some private information about me out of him. Of course, it's not essential information, or I would indeed go and retrieve him myself. It wouldn't be worthwhile for you to extract it yourself and sell it to a fourth party, instead of just going for what I'm going to pay you. |
Free Gloomy Crush

As I said, I'm trying to complete the scheme the good guys think they've thwarted … You don't need to know what it's about, but a number of wannabe heroes, two priests and the descendants of Ondřej Chrysoponus Jevíčský won't be happy. |
Get the kid out of here before the goodies break him and his mistress might no longer pay you the full amount that she promised … or someone else beats you to it?

Excellent. We won, the good guys thought they were winning but ultimately failed. At the end of the day, the kidnapping has made me enjoy this even more.
The Skulls? Yeah, Crush was one of them until he outgrew them. Their attempt to rescue him was obviously a try to get him back. Or perhaps they wanted to silence him. |
