Description
The Alteridem Foundation is a philanthropic organization dedicated to starting the careers of promising new heroes. At least, in theory. In practice, they're essentially a normal Super Group with very active recruitment and a high turnover rate. While most of the Foundation's members don't stick around very long, there does exist a core group of "veteran" Foundation members. The Alteridem Foundation's most significant aspects are that they seem to be the only people who can coax the reclusive mad genius called Chihiro-san out of wherever she seems to disappear to, and being the one and only source of people who use Force of Will, which many people and organizations tend to argue about when they haven't anything better to do.
In addition to its heroes, the Foundation has a small support staff, which consists primarily of doctors, a lawyer or two, and a collection of fairly unique individuals.

The faces of the Alteridem Foundation, the heroes tend to get the most attention. Many of them also fill civilian roles in the Foundation.

Doctor Bruce Malone
Despite his large, intimidating stature, Doctor Malone is personable and easy-going. He is a retired boxer with over a dozen years of experience as a general medical practitioner, and his job is to keep the Alteridem Foundation's members free of illness and infection, a job which is only complicated by the number of odd ways of becoming unhealthy which are only available to heroes. Doctor Malone goes about his work in a slow, methodical manner, and is a detail-oriented person. In addition to his work as a general practitioner, Doctor Malone also has surgical training, and is capable of addressing internal injuries.
Doctor Adelaide Testarossa
Animated and energetic, Doctor Testarossa gets along very well with Megan Alteridem. This is good, since the two see a lot of each other. Doctor Testarossa is the Foundation's orthapedic and trauma specialist, so she's the one the Foundation turns to when broken bones need setting or bullets and flechette fragments need removing. Doctor Testarossa keeps a collection of specialized Impervium surgical tools on hand, which are designed for metahuman surgery.
