About two months later … Hiya $name. Now that, according to the powers that be, the Rikti are no longer trying to invade us, unless Vanguard provokes them or something, how about a trip to Boston? Mental Strike, a Villain from the Rogue Isles, is going to raid the Massachusetts Museum of Powers today. Ms. Ge – they're archenemies, or whatever to call a bad guy who's got the hots for a good girl – is forming a team to overwhelm him. You up for something that I'm sure is considered cowardly by someone? |
Watch over the museum

Mental Strike is after a magical exhibit known as the Drum of Wanne-Eickel, expecting it to enhance his powers so he can mind control his crush into marrying him or something. He announced it on his Web site, and Ms. Ge is one his few readers, out of self-protection. Says his HTML is so bad that she has to use Crey's browser for it to be readable.
Come to think of it, wasn't Mental Strike a Science guy? Would he be able to use such a Relic in the first place? Say … you wouldn't be able to find an excuse to show it to me, would you? |

Pity they don't allow me to accompany you. Would like to see Boston's nuclear plant before it goes kaboom in 2010.
What? Never played Sim City? |
The other heroes move in, and you stand guard at the entrance in case the villain escapes them.
But when the number of gooders arriving reaches a few dozens you grow suspicious …

What a bunch of jerks. Those vigilantes came to protect the artifacts, saw a half-demon and concluded that your whole team must be evil, letting the actual robbers get away. Poor Fiend Girl, it must have been a horrible experience, I feel sorry for her.
Don't get me wrong, it's her own fault, merging with a demon just like that, but that's not the point. |
